Snuggle Tubes and Pouches!!

New!! These  are hand-made, double-sided machine-washable flannelette sleeping tubes and pouches!  They are made especially for hedgehogs and they make great gifts.  Some of the tubes are insulated with polyester batting so they are extra soft.  Various sizes are available. $10 for tubes and $8 for pouches.  Customized orders are also possible.  Email me to request one.

Only $2 a sheet or 3 for $5.  Several designs to pick from.  One sheet includes 16 small stickers and 2 large stickers.

Extremely Unique Hedgehog Carvings!

These hedgehogs were handmade by Charles Gachagwi, a craftsman in Kijabe, Kenya.  He carved them from a picture I gave him of my hedgehog, Timbit.  They are very well carved and polished. As true African art work of an African hedgehog, they would make a great addition to any collection of hedgehog paraphernalia, or just a great conversation piece to set on a mantle.  Unfortunately some of the carvings were cracked slightly when they were shipped (see the 3rd one from the right) but the others are very nice.  Charles is asking $60 (Canadian) for the large hedgehog and $45 for the small ones.  Of course they come from an African street market vendor, so the price is negotiable, especially for the flawed one, so make an offer.  To order one, email me or phone (902) 444-0570.

Mealworms!!

Good old mealworms.  Free to people who have bought a hedgehog from me.  Otherwise they are 3 cents each, 200 for $5, or 500 for $10.  Availability depends on which stage they are at in the life cycle. If your hedgehog also enjoys the pupae and adults (darking beetles) you can get those too.
